ABOUT ME

I am a ceramic artist from the Northern suburbs of Perth. Over five years ago, I was looking for a particular style vase for a bunch of dried lavender that I had bought from a lavender farm in Balingup, Western Australia.

Unsuccessful with that attempt, an idea popped into my head: “Why not make my own?”. I had never touched clay before, let alone created something with it. Before I knew it, I had enrolled myself in a pottery course. I was amazed at what could be created from a lump of clay. It took no time at all for me to be fully immersed in the world of pottery and clay.

I enjoy all aspects of working with clay and the creative process. From hand-built freeform style pieces to the uniformity of wheel-thrown works, I strive to create functional work that can easily double as decorative.

All my pottery is fired to 1280C and food safe.

All pieces that I create are mostly inspired by our regular travels around our beautiful state of Western Australia.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you can find that something special in my store.
